Alex
When Alex messaged me that he needed headshots, I envisioned the outcome in my head from the start. I knew that we could play with a non-typical and classic type of portraits, he is a creative individual, so it is important for me to showcase that side of him.
Alex felt very comfortable in front of the camera, that is why all the photos ended up feeling natural. We explored different locations, and let ourselfs opened for improvisation.
I prepared a foil for the backgroud for some of the headshots, as I always wanted to experiment with a texture, the reflectiion of two different colours from RGB portable lights created a unique backgroud, plus little laser machine added a creative pop to the portrait. I always take portable lights with me, the colourful light can produce a dramatic effect, it can emphasize and also tell the story.
We ended up checking a few locatins, starting from home, then botanical garden, art center and a cafe. It allowed me to create a variety of portraits with different feelings.

Marina
I love pushing boundaries together with outstanding Marina. Let's go to the supermarket and then jump in a random taxi and take photos in a car? Or down to the seaside? Or take photos during typhoon? Why not!? Marina's talent to adapt to my vision allows me to create images that reflect on my inner feelings.
It is vital for me to sense the image, and for some reason my senses skyrocket everytime I decide to take photos with Marina. Midnight taxi ride will turn into a slowmotion story, full of colours with house music in the background.
I love exmerimenting with poses, that is why Marina's talent to move and flow in front of the camera is one of my favourite things about the process.
Colours and light tell stories, I want the viewer to hear the photo and sense it through the inner prism.

Dorian
Dorian needed some lifestyle photos, headshots for different purposes, and one of the requests were DJ headshots.
Creating the variety of portraits was of the key requirements for me, and also produse images that will stand out from the others. My aim was to highlight Dorian's personality and at the same time visualise music by rendering patterns using different techniques.
To create some of the patterns I used filters that I attached to my lens and a portable laser. When visualsing music,
I referred to the look of an equalizer, the one you see in music programs or classic media players.
